Our goal is to ease parent concerns over damage to devices while in their child’s care and continue to support a sustainable take-home program for our schools. If you were issued a device between 8/17/20-9/14/20 and MISSED the Insurance purchase deadline, you are able to bring the laptop to school to be inspected for damage. If there is NOT damage to the device, then you will be allowed to go online to our school website (see link below) and purchase within 72 hours of that date of inspection. The inspection date will be written on the existing contract. This will be a one-time fee per specific device for the school year to cover potential incidents like cracked screens, missing keyboard keys, damaged plastics, liquid spills, and theft. Funds raised from this program will be used to repair damaged devices, and replace devices. If a student is given a school laptop or hotspot on and after 9/15/2020, that Insurance Policy must be purchased within 72 hours of the time the laptop/hot spot was loaned out, and can be purchased through the school website under Resources/Library. The Insurance Policy covers one device and one incident.

$15.00 for Hot Spots Insurance
$30.00 to replace the cord to a device if it goes missing or gets damaged (under Library Fees)
