Dress Code Reminder

With the nicer weather, students are returning to wearing their lighter clothing, but please help us out by doing a quick dress code check at home before sending the kids our way.

Reminders:
  • All footwear must have a back (and be worn appropriately)
  • Crop-tops are not acceptable for school
  • Shorts must have at least a 4" inseam and no undergarments should be visible
  • Tank top straps must be 2" wide
  • The off-the-shoulder shirts are only acceptable if something meeting the dress code is worn underneath
  • Frayed jeans/shorts are allowed, but no bare skin can show through - the big blown out knee pants are super cute and super out of dress code.
  • Professional teams are still out of dress code - that goes for all sports - basketball, football, baseball, etc.

Please click on the link below for the District webpage regarding dress code.

Congratulations to Mrs. Salazar - Mountain View's Exceptional Person Award Recipient!

We had the extreme pleasure of attending the Exceptional Persons Award Ceremony this past Wednesday where Arianna Salazar was recognized for her amazing work with our students. This award is presented by Clovis Unified's Community Advisory Committee and celebrates individuals who go above and beyond in service to our special education population. 18 individuals were recognized across the district, from one super-involved student, to staff members and administrators, to parent volunteers. It was a beautiful and touching ceremony, and it was a great way to acknowledge the tremendous work of our Mrs. Salazar. She's truly Golden and a wonderful example for our kids and community.

Attention 6th Grade Parents:

Important Message From the Nurse!

This is a friendly reminder to please submit documentation of your child’s Tdap booster as soon as possible.

The Tdap vaccine is required before students can receive their 7th grade schedules. Your student will NOT receive their schedule in the fall without documentation of this vaccination.

If you have any questions regarding this requirement, please contact the school health office. The phone number is 327-2578.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter!
